About Our Services

In order to make your trip as pleasant as possible, we have provided below some information of interest to you. This information will help be well informed for your trip.

Group Travel

Travelling in groups and by bus represents advantages for having everything planned by professionals, with permanent assistance from experienced guides, sharing their experiences with other people, which is an added value, but also means having to adapt to some procedures during the trip.

Everything is planned in order to take the best advantage of the time on the chosen route to enjoy the maximum of what there is to know in each city. This requires the traveler to also adapt to the way of travel, respecting the schedules set by the guide. We recommend that you always show up at least 5 minutes in advance at the meeting points marked by the guide during the trip.

Excellent Prices & Quality Service

We believe that it is entirely possible to pay a fair price for quality services, therefore, our pricing policy is possible through continuous negotiation with our partners and suppliers of quality and tradition in the tourism market.

Guaranteed Departures / Vouchers

From the moment our suppliers confirm the reservation, the tour departure is guaranteed.

When you receive your travel documentation, check the vouchers that are delivered, if the dates, hotels and other contracted services are correct and if the emergency telephone number is indicated.

Group Transfers

Upon arrival at airports, where you have a transfer included, after collecting your luggage, go out to the arrival hall and look for your transfer driver, who is usually waiting for you with a sign with your name or the tour logo.

The transfer operator will take you to the scheduled hotel, and upon arrival at the hotel, consult the posters with daily information about the chosen itinerary to find out the time and place where the initial meeting with the guide will take place.

Please note that the transfer operator is not the guide that accompanies the group.

Hotels & Accommodation

In the main cities, our itinerary includes a minimum stay of 2 nights. We have selected a set of quality hotels to make you feel at home. The location of the hotels was decisive for their hiring, in the catalog we indicate in each city the location (City/Center/Periphery) of the planned hotel.

The hotels we use are not luxurious, they are classified by European standards, but functional and comfortable, officially classified as First Category, Superior Tourist or Tourist. All with private bathrooms, and usually with telephone and television. In some you will find a minibar, safe, hairdryer and air conditioning system.

Most triple rooms are usually double rooms with an additional bed, thus restricting space and comfort in these situations, so we only advise their use by family members or 2 adults and 1 child.

The normative time for entry into hotels will be after 2:00 pm and departure by 12:00 pm. In the case of extra nights to have your room available outside these hours, request it in advance and before starting the trip.

Luggage / Porters at Hotels

Identify your luggage with name, address, city of residence, country and telephone number. Luggage is personal and the responsibility of the passenger.

Space in the trunks of buses is limited to one item per person with a maximum weight of 22 kg.

We recommend that you bring comfortable clothes and do not forget that some visits to cities are made by walking through the tourist sites, so we recommend that you bring comfortable shoes.

We also advise that visits to Museums, Churches and Palaces, in general, cannot be carried out in shorts or shorts.

Do not leave your hand luggage in restaurants or hotel receptions and beware of people outside the operation.

Always on arrival at the hotels, pay attention from opening the luggage racks on the bus to the arrival of the luggage at the reception.

Consular Visas / Passport

Always consult your travel agent about the need for a consular visa for the countries you will visit on your trip.

Confirm that your passport expires at least 180 days after your last day of travel.

If entry into any country is prevented by imposition of border authorities, Big Planet Adventures will not be responsible for any damages and/or losses resulting therefrom.

Useful Tips

Always keep your personal belongings (money, passport, jewelry, tickets, etc.) in the hotel room safe (some hotels may charge a service fee for their use).

Use international credit cards or travelers checks that are accepted in all cities to avoid carrying cash.

For safety reasons, do not leave clothes, purses, wallets and other personal items in public places.
